As we drove up to the house, my heart sank deep as the home was nothing like the pictures. In fact, it was worse. Dusty surfaces, a dirty bathroom, trash in the bins, rumpled sheets- the disappointment grew as we walked through the house. We left and ended up at a hotel.

I never want anyone to experience what I went through. Over the years, I have taken note of what makes for a great stay. Each time I enjoyed a vacation home, I’ve said to myself “I want to create a space like this to host people and provide a great experience like the one I’ve had.
